The Message: Ancient Egyptian
Occultic Formula in the Heart of the Lords
Prayer
As warren Smith read on, he discovered
that Rick Warren loved The Message Bible. Out
of the 15 versions in his book, this clearly is
Ricks favorite. In the heart of the Lords
Prayer, as translated in The Message, he found
an astonishing phrase, used by the occult from the
time of the Egyptians onward. There, in the heart of
the Lords Prayer, had been planted the ancient
occultic formula:
As above, so below
This phrase comes from the
beginning of The Emerald Tablet and embraces
the entire system of traditional and modern magic
which was inscribed upon the tablet in cryptic
wording by Hermes Trismegistus. The
significance of this phrase is that it is believed
to hold the key to all the mysteries. All systems of
magic are claimed to function by this formula. That
which is above is the same as that which is
below
The universe is the same as God.
God is the same as man
(http://www.themysica.com/mystica/articles/a/below_above.html). Quoted in
Warren Smith, 33. (Emphasis mine)
The
Book: As Above, So Below
About the time, Warren Smith was
researching this phrase, he came across a book
written and published by editors of the New Age
Journal, entitled, As Above, So Below. In
the introduction, the chief editor of the book,
Ronald S. Miller wrote:
Thousands of years ago in
ancient Egypt, the great master alchemist Hermes
Trismegistus, believed to be a contemporary of the
Hebrew prophet Abraham, proclaimed this fundamental
truth about the universe: As above, so
below; as below, so above. This maxim
implies that the Transcendent God beyond the physical
universe and the immanent God within ourselves are
one. Heaven and earth, spirit and matter, the
invisible and the visible worlds form a unity to
which we are intimately linked. Ronald
S. Miller and the Editors of the New Age Journal,
As Above, So Below: Paths to Spiritual Renewal
in Daily Life (Los Angeles: Jeremy P. Tarcher,
Inc., 1992), p. xi.
Fundamental,
Radical Pantheism in the Heart of the Lords
Prayer
Miller then quotes the Sufi scholar
Reshad Field:
As above, so below means
that the two worlds are instantaneously seen to be
one when we realize our essential unity with
God
. The one and the many, time and
eternity, are all One. (Ellipsis in
original) Field quoted in Miller, p.xi,
quoted in Smith, 32.
This World is Not At One With the
World of Heaven; The Kingdom of Heaven is At War With
the Kingdom of Satan
Not only does the Bible utterly reject
pantheism, but also the Bible teaches that
There was war in heaven. Michael and His angels
fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and
his angels.
And the great dragon was cast
out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan,
which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into
the earth, and his angels were cast out with
him. Revelation 12: 7-9.
That great controversy between Christ
and Satan is still going on. Everywhere that Jesus
went, the demons cried out in fear. Jesus very
presence is mortal threat to Satans kingdom of
evil, darkness, and rebellion.
The believer is not one with the
world: Because ye are not of this world, but I
have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world
hateth you. John 15:19.
Carl
Jung, the Aryan Christ, Paul Tillich, Pastor Rick
Warren, and the Purpose-Driven Life
Jung was convinced that
he had been chosen by God for a prophetic mission to
herald the dawning Age of Aquarius D. Sclar,
The Nazis and the Occult, 132.
Its the dawning
of the Age of Aquarius
One of the
Hippie songs of the sixties.
Carl Jung, the psychologist, laid the
foundation for pantheism in religion by implementing
pantheism in psychology. In the aftermath of the
pantheistic Hippie Movement, pantheistic psychology
became a virtual religion, and now, as people
immersed in pantheistic culture and pantheistic
psychology recognize a pantheistically oriented
religion emerging, they are flocking to it in droves.
Jung created an Aryan Christ. The effort to create an
Aryan Christ in the field of psychoanalysis by Jung
is staggering. The influence of Jung upon the
world is enormous. Carl Gustav Jung, along with
Sigmund Freud, stands as one of the two most
famous and influential figures of the modern age. His
ideas have shaped our perception of the world; his
theories of myths and archetypes and his notion of
the collective unconscious have become part of
popular culture. Richard Noll, The
Aryan Christ: The Secret Life of Carl Jung.
New York: Random House, 1997, from the cover.
Noll has written an entire book about
this The Aryan Christ: The Secret Life of
Carl Jung, by Richard Noll. Noll writes,
Earnest Jones complained to Freud in December
1912 that Jung is going to save the world,
another Christ (with certainly anti-Semitism
combined). Freud concurred, I thank you
for very just remarks about Jung. In fact, he behaves
like a perfect fool, he seems to be Christ
himself
. Jones and Freud
quoted in The Aryan Christ, p. 112.
In June 8, 1913, Freud wrote to
Ferenczi, You had heard that Jung had
declared in America that [psychoanalysis] was not a
science but a religion. Ibid., 113.
For many decades before Jung became
conscience that he was the Aryan Christ for a new age,
there had been a wide-ranging debate in German
culture not only about the historical reality of
Jesus of Nazareth, but whether he was 100 percent
Jewish. Aryan Christ, 144. As the
historian George Mosse notes in his magisterial
analysis of the Volkish movement [which was
foundational to Nazisms hold on the German
people], another tendency of Volkish
thought was to substitute the image of
the Volk for the person and function of
Christ. Aryan Christ, 146.
Jung Taught the God Within
Carl Jung received his deepest
insights from a familiar spirit [evil spirit]
appearing as an old man with a beard, named Philemon.
Compelled from within to formulate and
express what might have been said by Philemon,
Jung wrote his famous Seven Sermons to the
Dead.
By the end of the seventh [sermon to the dead], he
had converted these disaffected Christians to his own
pagan philosophy and to Abraxas, a god both good and
evil
a terrible, hidden god
the operation
of all the gods and devils
There is no deity
more powerful
the lion-headed variant of the
Gnostic god. Aryan Christ, pp. 161, 162.
This is just a terrible snippet of Jungs world,
which became the world of the religion of psychology
and psychoanalysis in the twentieth century, concepts
which shaped powerfully the thinking of the global
culture of the Twentieth Century. Jung taught
the god within, a form of pantheism, a
concept that has been broadly accepted by
todays New Age culture, including the New Age
Christ promoted by the churches.
It would be hard to imagine a greater
conflict than would exist between the True Christ of
the Bible and the Aryan Christ of Jungian psychology
direct from evil spirits. Yet, pastor Rick Warren of
Saddleback writes in The Purpose-Driven Life.
The Bible says, He rules everything and
is everywhere and is in everything.

New Century Versions Pantheism Used by
Rick Warren and Schuller
Rick Warren is quoting Ephesians 4:6
from the New Century Version, which is
prominently displayed on Robert Schullers
website. Schuller ran the Crystal Cathedral and the
Schuller Institute, where Rick Warren attended and
taught. Schuller, in an Hour of Power sermon
proclaimed: Yes, God is alive and He is
in every single human being! (Schuller
quoted in Warren Smith, p. 80) (Emphasis mine). This
New Age version of the Bible is teaching pantheism in
Ephesians 4:6.
