(The Fifth,
Sixth and Seventh Trumpet)

We
have examined the first four trumpets and touched
on the fifth trumpet. So, let’s do a short
review on the fifth trumpet and proceed.
Two thirds of the way
through the Great Tribulation (about 2 ½ years) (remember,
890 days – 2/3 of 1,335 days), the devil
will be released from the spirit realm (the
abyss) to physically appear before the people of
the Earth. He will masquerade as God, perform
great signs and wonders and he will torture as
obstinate group of people who refuse to recognize
that he is God. I call this group of people “the
non-religious wicked.”
In the previous broadcast, I
explained that in terms of submission to God,
there are three types of people:
1. The saints,
2. The religious
wicked
3. The
non-religious wicked.
The religious wicked are
religious people who have wicked hearts – as
did the Pharisees and Sadducees in Christ’s
day.
The title, “non-religious
wicked” is self-explanatory. This group of
people refuses to acknowledge or worship any God.
(Many scientists belong to this group.) Keep
these three groups in mind as we go through some
commentary on Revelation 9:
Revelation 9:1 The
fifth angel sounded his trumpet [in Heaven’s
temple], and [my attention was directed toward
Earth] I saw a [an angelic] star that had fallen
from the sky to the earth. [Lucifer was once the
brightest angel in Heaven, he was cast out of
Heaven at the speed of light because of rebellion
against God’s authority.] The star [Lucifer]
was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss
[where he and his demons had been imprisoned
since their expulsion from Heaven].
Revelation 9:2 When
he [Lucifer] opened the Abyss, [there were so
many demons ascending from the abyss that they
looked like a dense cloud of smoke and the] smoke
rose from it [the abyss] like the smoke of a
gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were
darkened by the smoke of the Abyss.
Revelation 9:3 And
out of the smoke locusts came down upon the earth
[from a distance, this horde of demons looked
like a dense cloud of smoke. As they drew closer
to the Earth, the demons looked something like
locusts as they came down upon the Earth] and
[these demons] were given power like that of a
scorpions of the earth.
Revelation 9:4 They
were told not to harm the grass of the earth or
any plant or tree, but only those people who did
not have the seal of God on their foreheads. [In
other words, the devil and his angels can’t
hurt those who have been sealed and of course,
they won’t harm those who believe the devil
is Almighty God. The devil and his angels will
torture those who stand in opposition to the
blasphemous claims of the devil. The
non-religious wicked (scientists, communists,
agnostics and many teenagers will be painfully
tormented and this intimidation will cause
many of the non-religious wicked to buckle and
confess “yes,” the devil is Almighty
God.]
Revelation 9:5 They
were not given power to kill them [the
non-religious wicked], but only to torture them for
five months. And the agony they [their victims] suffered
was like the sting of a scorpion when it strikes
a man. [Searing pain.]
Revelation 9:6 During
those days [non-religious] men [and women] will
seek death, but will not find it; they will long
to die, but death will elude them.
Revelation 9:7 The
locusts looked like horses [and riders] prepared
fro battle. On their heads they [the demons] wore
something like crowns of gold, and their faces
resembled human faces. [Demonic angels resemble
human beings. The crowns of gold on their heads
(stephanos – crowns of victory) reflect
their dominion over mankind. They are part of the
devil’s masquerade. About 15 feet tall, they
will be very impressive beings.]
Revelation 9:8 Their
hair was [long and beautiful] like woman’s
hair, and their teeth were (strong and deadly,
designed to tear flesh) like lion’s teeth.
Revelation 9:9 They
had breastplates like breastplates of iron [nothing
manmade could penetrate them or hurt them], and
the sound of their wings [as they fly] was [powerful]
like the thundering of many horses and chariots
rushing into battle.
Revelation 9:10 [Because
God can speak volumes with a single caricature,
these demons were represented to me as though] they
had tails and stings like scorpions, and in their
tails they had power to torment people for five
months.
Revelation 9:11 They
[the demons] had as king over them the angel
of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew in
Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon.” “Destroyer”
Why is Lucifer, the angel
king of the Abyss, called a destroyer? If
you understand the full cup principle, you know
the answer to this question.
When a nation or group of
people reach a point where extended mercy does
not produce a redeeming effect, God always
empowers and sends a destroyer. A destroyer sent
on a divine mission cannot be thwarted.
Destroyers may be called upon to impose redemptive
judgments or the destroyer may be required to
impose totally destructive judgments. Here’s
an example of what I am saying:
God told Jeremiah:
Jeremiah 4:5 “Announce
in Judah and proclaim in Jerusalem and say:
‘Sound the trumpet throughout the land!’
Cry aloud and say: ‘Gather together! Let us flee
to the fortified cities [of Israel]!’
Jeremiah 4:6
Raise the signal to go to Zion! Flee for safety
without delay! For I am bringing disaster from
the north, even terrible destruction.”
Jeremiah 4:7 A lion
has come out of his lair; a destroyer of nations
has set out. He has left his place to lay waste
your land. Your towns will lie in ruins without
inhabitants…
Jeremiah 4:16 “Tell
this to the nations, proclaim it to Jerusalem:
‘A besieging army is coming from a distant
land, raising a war cry against the cities of
Judah.
Jeremiah 4:18 “Your
own conduct and actions have brought this upon
you. This is your punishment. How bitter it is!
Now it pierces to the heart!”
Jeremiah 4:22 “My
people are fools; they do not know me. They are
senseless children; they have no understanding.
They are skilled in doing evil; they know not how
to do good.”
Jeremiah 5:15 O
house of Israel,” declares the Lord. “I
am bringing a distant nation against you –
an ancient and enduring nation, a people whose
language you do not know, whose speech you do not
understand.
Jeremiah 5:16 Their
quivers are like an open grave; all of them are
mighty warriors.
Jeremiah 5:17 They
will devour your harvests and food, devour your
sons and daughters; they will devour your flocks
and herds, devour your vines and fig trees. With the
sword they will destroy the fortified cities in
which you trust.
Jeremiah 25:8 Therefore
the Lord Almighty says this: “Because you
have not listened to my words,
Jeremiah 25:9 I
will summon all the peoples of the north and my
servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, declares
the Lord, “and I will bring them against
this land and its inhabitants and against all the
surrounding nations. [Through him] I will
completely destroy them and make them an object
of horror and scorn, and an everlasting ruin.”
Nebuchadnezzar, king of
ancient Babylon, was >>empowered by
God<< to destroy Israel. In a
particular way, Lucifer, king of modern Babylon,
will be empowered by God to destroy Earth. Since
1994, Earth’s cup of iniquity has been
overflowing.
Lucifer’s title is
given in Hebrew and Greek because God wants
everyone, Jew and Gentile alike, to know who the
destroyer actually is and why he will be released
upon mankind. The devil will be released from the
Abyss [spirit realm] to bring the drama of sin to
a close. The Antichrist and his angels will be on
Earth 445 days. (A little more than a year)
2 Thessalonians 2:3
Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for
that day [the Second Coming] will not come until the
rebellion occurs [Paul predicts a worldwide
rebellion will before Jesus appears. This
rebellion will be man’s response to the
everlasting gospel that the 144,000 will present
during the Great Tribulation and this great
rebellion will bring the work of the 144,000 to a
stand still. When this happens] and [then] the
man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to
destruction.
[Daniel 8:23 “In
the latter part of their reign, when rebels have
become completely wicked, a stern-faced king, a
master of intrigue, will arise.]
2 Thessalonians 2:4
He will oppose [every religion] and will exalt himself
over [and above] everything that is called God or
is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s
temple [Paul is not talking about the devil
sitting in a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem –
Paul is saying the devil will exalt himself as
the highest], proclaiming himself to be God.
2 Thessalonians 2:5
Don’t you remember that when I was with you
I used to tell you these things?
2 Thessalonians 2:6
And now you know what is holding him back, so
that he may be revealed at the proper time.
2 Thessalonians 2:7
For the secret [hidden] power of lawlessness
[rebellion against God] is already at work; but
the one who now holds it [total rebellion] back [Jesus]
will continue to do so till he [Jesus] is taken
out of the way. [When corporate intercession of
Jesus ends, the censer will be cast down and the
wrath of God will begin.]
2 Thessalonians 2:8
And then [during the fifth trumpet] the lawless
one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus
will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and
destroy by the splendor of his coming.
2 Thessalonians 2:9
The coming of the lawless one will [deceive the
wicked. The devil will be glorious and awesome in
appearance, but his true character will come out
because he is evil and his words and actions will
in accordance with the work of Satan [which is
deceptive, the devil will prove his divine claims
through displays of] displayed in all kinds of
counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders,
2 Thessalonians 2:10
and in every sort of evil that deceives those who
are perishing. They perish because they [heard
and] refused to love the truth and so be
saved.
2 Thessalonians 2:11
For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion
[and an invincible destroyer] so that they might
believe the lie.
2 Thessalonians 2:12
and so that all will be condemned who have not
believed the truth but have delighted in
wickedness.”
God not only permits the
devil to physically appear, God empowers the
devil to destroy. Here are two reasons why God
does this:
1. The devil is
not allowed to physically appear until the gospel
presented by the 144,000 stalls.
In other words, after 890
days, most of the people of earth will have heard
the gospel of Jesus Christ and most will have made
a decision as to whether they are going to
worship as God demands or worship as Babylon
demands. Then, the devil will be released from
the Abyss, he will descend in clouds of glory at
various places on Earth and he will claim to be
God. He will back up his various claims with
miracles, signs and wonders. The devil will tell
the people of earth that he has come to set up
his kingdom on Earth, and he will demand that
everyone must participate in the rebuilding of
Earth.
Of course, the devil knows
the people of Earth cannot restore the
destruction caused by the first four trumpets in
a mere 445 days, but that is beside the point.
Like Pharaoh of old, the devil will make slaves
of his subjects. He will wear out the people of
Earth with heavy labor and cruel taskmasters. He
will claim that he has come to establish a
thousand years of peace on Earth and billions of
people will believe him and they will work
themselves to death, trying to please this demon.
Those refusing to believe
the devil is God and refusing to work as he
demands will be punished with pain like that of a
scorpion. This is the torture that befalls the
non-religious wicked during the fifth trumpet. As
non-religious people behold the torture and
intimidation imposed by Satan, some will
reconsider their decision. They will become
slaves of Lucifer to avoid the pain.
However, others will
reconsider the testimony of the 144,000. They
will repent of their rebellion, reject the lies
and authority of the devil and submit to the joy
of serving Jesus Christ, “whose yoke is easy
and burden is light.”
Remember, the devil cannot
touch those who have been sealed during this five
months – for the most part, they will not be
found in the great crowds that will go to hear
and see the devil.
2. Lucifer, the
destroyer, is sent to the inhabitants of Earth so
that Earth’s religious gridlock can be
eliminated. Because religion is a highly
sensitive matter involving personal persuasion
and cultural heritage, it is almost impossible
for a person to convince another person that his
understanding of God is better and more
comprehensive that that of his neighbor.
God understands this
gridlock. (It has been said that less than 5% of
the world’s population change religious
systems.) Therefore, God allows the devil to
physically appear so that all the religious
systems can be destroyed.
Once the devil gloriously
appears, attended by some 200 million angels
(Revelation 9:16), the usual order of world
governance (our political and religious systems)
will become useless. The devil, masquerading as
Almighty God will call fire down out of Heaven to
destroy rebellious people. Billions of people
will either be intimidated or deceived into
believing that God Himself lives among men.
The devil will demand that
religious diversity has to be eliminated and
naturally so, the devil will proclaim himself to
be God and as such, his word is the law and it is
inerrant. Once the devil has gained enough
followers, the Bible says the devil will terminate
the seven religious systems (the seven heads of
the composite beast) of the world by setting up a
new one-world religion. This new religion is
called “an image” or likeness of the
composite beast in Revelation 13.
In other words, the
religious of the world will be unified so that
there will be “one Lord, one faith, one
baptism” instead of seven opposing religions
– each claiming to have the truth about God.
When the systems of the
world are declared null and void the religious
wicked will suddenly discover a great problem:
Their religious authorities are gone. The Bible,
the Koran, all sacred writings, including the
traditions and councils of the Church of Rome,
etc. will be useless. The only religious
authority left on Earth will be Lucifer. His word
will be law.
This unimaginable
transition – from traditional authority to
completely depending upon the devil’s
authority – this will also force many people
to thoughtfully reconsider the gospel of Jesus
Christ. But wait! It only gets worse. The devil
will demand death to everyone who refuses to
participate in his new one-world religion and
this decree will force everyone into one of two
camps:
1. worship as
the devil dictates and live or
2. worship Jesus
as He dictates and die.
This will be the ultimate
test of faith. “He [the devil] was given
power [authority from God] to give breath [life] to
the image [the one-world religion] of the first
beast [composite beast], so that it could speak
[make laws] and cause all who refused to worship [according
to the demands of] the image to be killed.”
(Revelation 13:15)
If we think the destruction
of the first four trumpets is bad, the devil will
cause even greater destruction. He will destroy
the governments of all nations when he sets up
ten “taskmaster” kings to rebuild the
world.
The devil will destroy all
of the religious systems of the world and to
purge Earth of its opposition, he will destroy
one-third of mankind (the non-religious wicked
and many of the saints). This is why the
devil’s name in both Hebrew and Greek,
Abaddon and Apollyon, means destroyer.
Several passages in the
Bible describe the physical appearing of the
devil, but tragically, very few people understand
the seriousness and enormity of this event
because these passages are usually misdirected
and/or misinterpreted.
For example, “the man
of sin or lawlessness” mentioned in 2
Thessalonians 2, the horn power/stern-faced king
in Daniel 8, the king of the north in Daniel
11:36-45, the two-horned beast ascending out of
the Earth in Revelation 13:11 and the beast
ascending from the Abyss in Revelation 11 and 17
are descriptions of the same thing, namely, the
physical appearing of the devil.
The world has not
witnessed anything comparable to the physical
appearing of the devil and this is why the Bible has
so much to say about it! Different Bible writers
describe this compelling event because there are
numerous issues involved with the physical
appearing of Lucifer.
The torture of the fifth
trumpet lasts for 5 months and that is just
enough time for the devil to accomplish his
ultimate objective: Gain total control of Earth.
By the end of the five months, the devil will
have identified and sorted out the people of
Earth. He’s very smart and his demons are
efficient.
By the end of the fifth
trumpet everyone will be forced by circumstances
into taking a position as to whether they are
going to join the restoration efforts of God’s
kingdom and obey the demands of the devil. Those
worshiping the devil will be counted as believers.
Those rebelling against his laws will be counted
as blasphemers.
Then, a global announcement
will be made by the devil:
Revelation 13:14… He [the
devil] ordered them [the religious and political
rulers of Earth] to set up an image [a likeness] in
honor of the [composite] beast who was
wounded by the sword and yet lived.
Revelation 13:15
He [the devil] was given power to give breath to
the image [life] of the first beast [composite
beast], so that it could speak and cause all who
refused to worship the image to be killed.
Revelation 13:16
He also forced everyone, small and great, rich
and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on
his right hand or on his forehead,
Revelation 13:17
so that no one could buy or sell unless he had
the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number
of his name.”
Key points: The
mark of the beast is implemented at the end of
the fifth trumpet.
Here’s the scenario:
During the fifth trumpet,
the devil and his angels will work night and day
to convince the world that Lucifer is Almighty
God. (The devil and his demons never sleep.)
Billions of people will submit to him and they
will obey his word and follow after him.
When the five months has
ended, the devil will demand a global purge. He
intends to purge the world of everyone opposedto
the establishment of his kingdom. The ten kings
who the devil chose will oversee this endeavor.
The people of Earth will be divided into units of
1,000 people and they will be told that 1/3 of
the world’s population will be destroyed
because of their rebellion “against Almighty
God.”
Ezekiel 5:11 Therefore
as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord,
because you have defiled my sanctuary with all
your vile images and detestable practices, I
myself will withdraw my favor; I will not look on
you with pity or spare you.
Ezekiel 5:12 A
third of your people will die of the plague or
perish by famine inside you; a third will fall by
the sword outside your walls; and a third I will
scatter to the winds and pursue with drawn sword.
Ezekiel 5:13 “Then
my anger will cease and my wrath against them
will subside, and I will be avenged. And when I
have spent my wrath upon them, they will know
that I the LORD have spoken in my zeal.”
By killing one-third,
the devil will give the illusion of being
generous.
Each person who wants to
live and participate in the kingdom of God will
have to show his loyalty to the devil by
receiving a tattoo on his or her right hand. This
tattoo will prove that the owner is loyal to the
devil and the kingdom of God. The owner of this
tattoo will be entitled to buy and sell.
This tattoo will be a name
and a number. The name Lucifer uses will be
tattooed on the foreheads of his lieutenants [this
is a counterfeit of God writing his name on the
foreheads of the 144,000 – Revelation 14:1,
22:4] and the number 666 will be tattooed on the
right hand.
666 is 2/3’s of 1,000.
Ezekiel 9:3 When
the Lord called to the man clothed in linen who
had the writing kit at his side
Ezekiel 9:4 and
said unto him, “Go throughout the city of
Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of
those who grieve and lament over all the
detestable things that are done in it.”
Ezekiel 9:5 As I
listened, he said to the others, “Follow him
through the city and kill, without showing pity
or compassion.
Ezekiel 9:6 Slaughter
old men, young and maidens, women and children,
but do not touch anyone who has the mark. Begin
at my sanctuary.” So they began with the
elders who were in front of the temple.”
When the time comes for the
mark of the beast, everyone will understand what
the mark of the beast is. This verse leaves no
wiggle room for anyone:
Revelation 13:18
This calls for [a minimal amount of] wisdom. If
anyone has insight [two brain cells working], let
him [do basic math and] calculate the number of
the [survivors belonging to the] beast, for it is
[the] man’s number [that is, the number
belonging to the man of sin]. His number [of
survivors per thousand] is [two-thirds of
mankind] 666 [people per thousand].
Parallel:
Malachi 3:16. A
scroll of remembrance was written in his presence
concerning those who feared the Lord and honored
his name.
Malachi 3:17 “They
will be mine,” says the Lord Almighty,
“In the day when I make up my treasured possession.
I will spare them, just as in compassion a man
spares his son who serves him.
Malachi 3:18 And
you will again see the distinction between the
righteous and the wicked, between those who serve
God and those who do not.”
Once the tattoos are in
place, the killing of the opposition will begin.
This killing is described in the 6th
trumpet.
Revelation 9:13 The
sixth angel sounded his trumpet [in Heaven’s
temple], and I heard a voice coming from the
horns of the golden altar that is before God.
[The golden altar is the Altar of Incense, and a
voice is heard coming from the horns because the
four horns represent the omnipresent work of the
Holy Spirit. See Zechariah 1:18,19. A horn
represents an entity of power – such as ten
horns on the monster beast in Daniel 7. The four
horns on the Altar of Incense and the four living
creatures represent four of the same thing
respectively; they represent the omnipresence
of the Holy Spirit, an entity or member of the
Godhead.
When the time arrives for
the sixth trumpet, the Holy Spirit – that
member of the Godhead who knows every heart
simultaneously – speaks from the Altar of
Incense. He speaks because the door of mercy is
not yet closed. He releases the devil to kill
one-third of mankind so that if possible, someone
in the valley of decision might repent. When the
6th trumpet blows, the time has come
for the devil to set up his kingdom by killing
the opposition and this killing will force
everyone in accepting or rejecting the mark of
the beast.]
Revelation 9:14 It
[the Holy Spirit] said to the sixth angel who had
the trumpet, “Release the four angels who
are bound at the great river Euphrates.”
[Parallel language indicating a flood of
overwhelming destruction is coming down from the
north]
Revelation 9:15 And
the four angels [four demons] who had been kept
ready for this very hour and day and month and
year were released to kill a third of mankind.
Revelation 9:16 The
number of the mounted troops [demons on horses] was
two hundred million. I heard their number.
Revelation 9:17 The
horses and riders I saw in my vision looked like
this: Their breastplates were fiery red, dark
blue, and yellow as sulfur. The heads of the
horses resembled the heads of lions, and out of
their mouths came fire, smoke and sulfur.
Revelation 9:18 A
third of mankind was killed by the three plagues
of fire, smoke and sulfur that came out of their
mouths.
Revelation 9:19 The
power of the horses was in their mouths and in
their tails; for their tails were like snakes,
having heads with which they inflict injury.
Revelation 9:20 The
rest of mankind [the 2/3] that were not killed by
these plagues still did not repent of their work
of their hands; they did not stop worshiping
demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone
and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or
walk.
Revelation 9:21 Nor
did they repent of their murders, their magic
arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts.”
Why didn’t they repent?
Those receiving the mark of the beast commit the
unpardonable sin. They have gone past
repentance.
“[The angel said to me,
“John,] The [great red dragon] beast, which
you saw [cast out of Heaven in Revelation 12:7-9],
once was [in Heaven], now is not [in Heaven
because he was cast out into the Abyss], and [at
the appointed time, he] will come up out of the
Abyss [e.g., the spirit realm where he has been
confined] and [after a great display of authority
and power for about a year he will] go to his
destruction. The inhabitants of the Earth whose
names have not been written in the Book of Life
from the creation of the world will be astonished
when they [actually] see the [great red dragon] beast.
Because he once was [a glorious angel in Heaven],
now [he is confined to the Abyss and] is not [visible
to human beings], and yet [during the fifth
trumpet, he] will [be permitted to] come [out of
hiding and masquerade as Almighty God. He will
astonish the wicked with incredible glory,
counterfeit wonders and miracles!]. The [great
red dragon] beast who once was [in Heaven], and
now is not [in Heaven], the eighth king. [This
stern-faced king is called an eighth king because
he will rule over the seven heads as the eighth
horn ruled over the seven horns in Daniel 7.] He [the
great red dragon] belongs to the seven [heads
because he opposes God’s authority and
truth. The great red dragon is the dreaded
Antichrist] and [even though he will appear to be
invincible for a while, you can be sure that he] is
going to his destruction.” (Revelation
17:8-11, emphasis and insertions mine)
By the end of the 1,260
days, the six trumpet judgments will have taken
place and every survivor will be found worshiping
the devil (the lamblike beast or worshiping Jesus
(the lamb).
At the end of the 1,260 days
this time, most if not all of the 144,000 will be
dead. But, on Sunday, the 1,265th day
of the Great Tribulation, the 144,000 will be
resurrected and taken to Heaven – presented
as the first fruits of an innumerable harvest
that Jesus is about to gather up. On the 1,265th
day, right after the 144,000 are gathered around
the throne, the seventh trumpet sounds in Heaven.
Revelation 11:15
The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there
were loud voices in heaven, which said: “The
kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of
our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for
ever and ever.”
Revelation 11:16
And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on
their thrones before God, fell on their faces and
worshiped God,
Revelation 11:17
saying: “We give thanks to you, Lord God
Almighty, the One who is and who was, because you
have [saved everyone that loves truth and] taken
your great power and have begun to reign [over
the Earth].
Revelation 11:18
The nations were angry [they have been hostile
toward your saints]; and [the time for] your [destructive]
wrath has come. The time has come for judging [avenging]
the dead [who stood firmly for the Word of God],
and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your
saints and [all] those who reverence your name,
both small and great – and [the time has
come] for destroying those who destroy the earth.”
Revelation 11:19
Then God’s temple in heaven was opened [to
the view of everyone on Earth so that everyone on
Earth could behold God’s covenant with man],
and within his temple was seen the Ark of the
Covenant. And there came flashes of lightening,
rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a
great hailstorm.”
Interesting point:
The Great Tribulation starts
with a global earthquake, flashes of lightening,
rumblings, peals of thunder, and a great
hailstorm [first trumpet].”
The seventh trumpet marks
the end of God’s extended mercy to mankind
and this event is marked by a global earthquake,
flashes of lightening, rumblings, peals of
thunder, and a great hailstorm.” Then, the
Great Tribulation ends with a global earthquake
that moves all the mountains and islands out of
their places, flashes of lightening, rumblings,
peals of thunder, and a great hailstorm, and each
hailstone weighs about 100 pounds.”
I have to smile at people
who insist all of these things are symbolic. How
much damage could a 100 pound symbolic hailstone
cause? I believe real hailstones, weighing 100
pounds, will kill every wicked person who is
alive when Jesus returns.
Revelation 19:19
When I saw the [composite] beast and the [ten]
kings of the earth and their armies gathered
together to make war against the rider on the
horse [Jesus] and his army.

But the [composite] beast was captured, and with
him the false prophet [the devil] who had
performed the miraculous signs on his behalf.
With these signs he [the devil] had deluded those
who had received the mark of the beast and
worshiped his image. The two were thrown alive
into the fiery lake of burning sulfur [at the
Second Coming].
