The Pantheistic Plan: Enlarge the Territory of Belief To Merge All as One

 

The Pantheistic Key Word: “Enlarge”

 

The word “enlarge” used in the fourth point of the PEACE plan is central to the New Age PEACE Plan and the New Spirituality – “if everyone – including Christians – would allow God to bless them by ‘enlarging’ the ‘territory’ of what they believe.”  [Warren Smith exposing New Age, 63 (italics mine)].  Millions of Christians are already familiar with this terminology from reading the first line of The Prayer of Jabez, a book by Bruce Wilkinson:

 

“Oh that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory…” 1 Chronicles 4:10. 

 

Walsch is capitalizing on Wilkinson’s emphasis on this text, and twisting scripture in an effort to make Christians believe that they must allow God to bless them by enlarging the territory of what they believe.  

 

This is just what Satan did in the second temptation of Christ – quote scripture to countenance deception. “As Jesus before used the word of God to sustain His faith, the tempter now uses it to countenance his deception.” (DA 124)

 

‘Walsch’s ‘God’ has tempted the world particularly the church, to push past the constraining ‘boundaries’ of familiar doctrinal belief and accept the ‘huge New Truth’ of the New Spirituality – ‘We Are All One.’

 

The Pantheistic Concept of God as a Force

 

“Pantheism pictures God not as a great personal Being, but a mysterious essence –an impersonal influence pervading all nature. God is seen in nature – in trees, flowers, sunshine, air, and human beings. The power of God in nature is confused with the personality of God.”  -5 BIO 281.

 

“The Eternal Creative Force of the Universe we call God can surge within your being to give you self-belief, self-esteem, self-love, self-confidence! Without it – you’re sunk, with it – your invincible!” – Robert Schuller of the Crystal Cathedral, Discover Your Possibility 1978, quoted in Warren Smith, 73.

Overlapping Vocabulary: God Referred to as a “Force”

 

“One of the main ways that the New Spirituality is sneaking into the Church is through…overlapping vocabulary, where Christians unknowingly use words that are heavy in New Age meaning. Words like ‘force.’…I had learned while in the New Age that the ‘God’ of the New Age is often referred to as a ‘Force.”’ –Warren Smith, 74,75.

 

“Later, Walsch initiated a discussion with his ‘God’ about ‘oneness,’ ‘self-esteem,’ and ‘Robert Schuller,’ by referring to God as the ‘Force’ in a unified ‘force field.’ 

 

“’Such as the idea that there is, in fact, only one force field. That there is only one energy. That this is the energy of Life itself, and that it is this energy that some people call God. [Walsch, New Revelations, 279]” –quoted in Warren Smith, 64. (Emphasis mine)

 

Of course, this is pantheism and a complete denial of the Great controversy. It also reveals where the education of the entertainment world has led with the commonly used phrase, “May the Force be with you.”

 

Daniel Prophesied That the Papacy Would Honor ‘Forces” In the Place of the God of Heaven

 

This is all pantheism. The Scripture warned in Daniel 11 that the papacy would honor “the God of forces.” “As for Almighty God, in His seat, or place, he shall honor, yea, he shall honor the God of forces.” Daniel 11:38. (Hebrew). The word-translated forces occur in verse 38, and 39.

 

In Hebrew, literally, “And as for God, the great God, forces in His place he shall honor…And he shall make fortresses of forces [same word] with a strange god, whom he shall honor (understand, recognize, regard, find out, perceive) and make great (multiply, increase, make abundantly) with glory, and he shall cause them to rule over many…” Daniel 11:38, 39.

 

The Pantheistic ‘Force” Which Drives the Purpose-Driven Life

 

This concept of the unified force field, referring to God as “the Force,” which is pantheism, is basic and fundamental to ‘the purpose-driven life.” The Force [the pantheistic God] drives the purpose-driven life.

 

The people in the pew and in the classrooms of the Structure are now being hammered continually with the “new spiritualities.” Everything from Jesuit Ignatian spirituality in Jesuit Spiritual Formation, to the pantheism of the Purpose-driven life, to the pantheism of Teihard de Chardin in youth ministries, such as Genesis 2k, to the Heideggerian ‘Caring Church,” to the pantheistic bibles sold at ABC’s and Structure university bookstores, such as The Message.  All these ”new spiritualities” are being promoted alongside the “old” 27 fundamental Beliefs, which themselves left the door open to the New Theology. The “old” is kept so that the members will not be alarmed at the massive invasion of pantheism.

 

The Big Drive to Break Down Exclusivity

 

Rome, the Jesuits, spiritualism, Pantheism, the New Age, Ecumenism, Billy Graham, Rick Warren, -all are seeking to hammer down the walls of exclusivity. The major effort is to break down exclusivity. Christianity is an exclusive religion. It excludes all false gods. It worships a Creator Who is separate from the distinct from, the creation. “Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.” “I am the First and I am the Last; and beside Me there is no God.” Isaiah 44:6.

 

An Exclusive Religion

 

True Seventh-day Adventists is an exclusive religion. It excludes all false gods, all false christs, all falsehood. It rejects the worship of creation as idolatry and pantheism. The Creator-creature distinction is basic to the understanding of why God is worshipped alone, and is seen as the basis of Sabbath observance. The great apostle Paul rejects the worship of the creature in Romans chapter one. Pantheism is seen to be the omega of apostasy in true Seventh-day Adventism. 

 

Shifting Political, Economic, and Spiritual Reality Through Acceptance of Pantheism

 

“Walsch’s ‘God’ explained how the world could be changed if people recognized the ‘Oneness’ of this unified force field’ called “God.’ [This is a classic pantheistic fundamental premise, now introduced into Christianity.]

 

“’ The simple awareness that you are all One-One with God and One with each other-and the creation of behavioral codes and international agreements reflecting that awareness, would shift the political, economic, and spiritual reality on Earth in ways that the teachings of your present day exclusivist religion can never do.

 

“’This is why, if you wish to change your world as you say that you do, you are invited to now create a New Spirituality, based on New Revelations. For your old exclusivist religions and your elitist, separatist theologies no longer serve you.

 

“’Not only do your biggest most powerful organized religions teach you that you are separate from each other, they also teach you that you are not worthy of God. They teach you that you are shameful, guilty creatures; that you were born in sin and do not deserve to be the dust under God’s feet. They rob you of your self-esteem.’ Walsch 280, 281.

 

The philosopher Nietzsche likewise had the same attack on Christianity. His philosophy now rules the street in America.

 

Self-Esteem, the Basis of the New Age Christ
vs.
Self-Loathing Which Leads to the True Christ

 

“Immediately following up on the reference to “self-esteem’ in relation to the New Spirituality, Neale Donald Walsch suddenly introduced Robert Schuller and Schuller’s 1982 book about self-esteem into the conversation.” Warren Smith, 64, 65.

 

Schuller in 1982 Calls For a New Reformation Based on Self-Esteem; Walsch’s “God” Praises Schuller

 

Walsch’s ‘God” praises Schuller, saying, “I hope he is proud of himself!” Schuller, in his 1982 book, Self-Esteem: The New Reformation, called for a new reformation of all Christianity with a new theology based upon “self-esteem.” The churches swallowed it, including the Structure. Now, with humanity no longer willing to admit its need for a Savior from sin, with a humanity refusing to accept the idea that they in themselves are full of self and sin, you have a humanity that no longer believes in self-crucifixion, self-renunciation, and self-abnegation, but instead believes in self-esteem.  

 

There is no self-loathing that drives the soul to Christ for salvation. “If any man come to Me, and hate not…yea, his own life also, he cannot be My disciple.” Luke 14:26.

 

In the Heart That Loves God Supremely, There is No Longer Self-Esteem

 

“The heart that loves God supremely will not in any way be inclined to narrow down His precepts to the very smallest possible claims, but the obedient, loyal soul will cheerfully render full spiritual obedience when the law is seen in its spiritual power. Then will the commandments come home to the soul in their real force. Sin will appear exceedingly sinful…. There is no longer self-righteousness, self-esteem, self-honor, Self-security is gone. Deep conviction of sin and self-loathing is the result, and the soul in its desperate sense of peril lays hold on the blood of the Lamb of God as his only remedy. Lt 51, 1888. (HC 140.) “ 1MCP 32.

 

Self-Esteem Kills Spiritual Life

 

“Self-esteem and self-sufficiency are killing spiritual life. Self is lifted up; self is talked about. Oh, that self might die! “I die daily,” said the apostle Paul. When this proud, boasting self-sufficiency and this complacent self-righteousness permeate the soul, there is no room for Jesus….” 5T 538, 539.

 

The Purpose-Driven Church’s Global P.E.A.C.E Plan

 

October 27, 2003, Pastor Rick Warren of Saddleback church sent out an e-mail titled GOD’S DREAM FOR YOU – AND THE WORLD. In this e-mail Pastor Rick Warren announced that the next weekend he would be announcing his ‘Global P.E.A.C.E. plan.”

Rick Warren Declares Purpose Driven Church About To “Change History”

 

“In a series of enthusiastic and authoritative statements, Rick Warren was positively declaring that the Purpose Driven Church had arrived at its ‘moment of destiny.’ He affirmed that God was preparing their church for ‘a great dream to change the world.’ He said the dream that they were about to embark upon would ‘change history.’ Employing a metaphysical dream affirmation technique (now often called “vision casting”) and using precise Schuller language, he declared that “The Global Peace Plain IS GOING TO HAPPEN.’” – Warren Smith, 131.

 

The gist of Rick Warren’s e-mail was that God was preparing his “church for a great dream to change the world!” He referred to Wilkinson’s sermon on “God’s dream for your life….

 

“THIS WEEKEND, I’ll begin a series of five messages on God’s dream to use you globally – to literally use YOU to help change the world! I’ll unveil our Global P.E.A.C.E. plan, and how God has uniquely prepared you for this moment of destiny.

 

“You are not a part of Saddleback Church by accident. God has brought all of us together, at this very strategic moment in time, to make a difference. I say this without fear of exaggeration – God is going to use you and all of us together at Saddleback, to change history!…

Introducing Schuller’s Dream Teaching Into the Purpose Driven Church

 

“Bruce Wilkinson and Rick Warren were now introducing Schuller’s teachings on dreams into the Church. Teachings on dreams that were based on man’s word rather than God’s Word.

 

“Instead of contending for the faith by exposing the plans of our spiritual Adversary’s 5-Step PEACE Plan, Rick Warren was in the process of introducing his own 5-step P.E.A.C.E.  Plan  – a  P.E.A.C.E. Plan that was being presented in the name of God and in the form of a dream. A dream that was being described in Schuller dream language as ‘God’s Dream for the world.’” (Warren Smith, 132, 133.)

The next week, November 2, 2003, Rick Warren unveiled his 5-Step P.E.A.C.E. Plan to Saddleback Church and those watching on the Internet. He told them that now that it was the 21^st century they were going global, formulating ‘a plan that would eventually be shared with ‘millions’ of other churches.’” (Warren Smith, pp. 133, 134). He reminded them that now there were 72,000 names on the church roll – like “a city.”

Rick Warren said that he had been talking to world leaders, getting their opinions, and his P.E.A.C.E. Plan was what he came up with.

Post 9/11 New Age Small Groups Praying for Collective Dream of World Peace

 

After the events of 9/11 New Age leaders were all over the media urging people to gather in small groups to envision and pray for world peace – Neale Donald Walsch, Marianne Williamson, who presented her ideas on the Oprah Winfrey show, Wayne Dyer and others declared that the collective dream of world peace could be created ‘if small groups around the world focused their prayers, meditations, and visualizations on the single subject of world peace.” – Warren Smith, 139. 

 

New Age Leader Dyer on PBS Promotes Pantheistic “Oneness”

 

Wayne Dyer on a post-September 11^th PBS Special stressed that “God is ‘in’ everyone and everything. Dyer suggested that world peace could be realized if everyone around the world recognized the Oneness (the New Age concept of ‘at-one-ment’) of their shared divinity with God.” (Warren Smith, 140)

 

Rick Warren Introduces His 5-Step P.E.A.C.E. Plan Using New Age Techniques of ‘Dreams” Directly Out of Schuller and New Age to Link “Millions of Churches”

 

Now Rick Warren was introducing a similar P.E.A.C.E. Plan to the New Age P.E.A.C.E. Plan, and using New Age techniques of “Dreams” and “Vision-casting,” directly out of Schuller and the New Age leaders to launch his ambitious plan to link millions of churches around the world to his plan  - a plan remarkably parallel to the New Age Plan of Walsch.

 

New Age Dyer Presents “The Power of Intention and Purpose” While Rick Warren Judges a “Power of Purpose” Contest for Pantheistic New Age Foundation

 

Meanwhile, New Age leader Wayne Dyer, on a PBS television special presented the subject of “The power of intention and purpose. While Dyer was cleverly presenting the new Spirituality by talking about the power of ‘purpose,’ Rick Warren was judging a ‘Power of Purpose’ essay contest for the New Age-based Templeton Foundation.  John Templeton – with his strong New Age and metaphysical leanings – believes in a ‘shared divinity between God and humanity.’ Templeton has been featured on the cover of Robert Schuller’s Possibilities Magazine, and he was recently described as ‘my wonderful role model’ by none other than Neale Donald Walsch.

 

The Purpose-Driven False Christ

 

False Christ Using “Purpose” As a Ploy To Accept New Spirituality

 

“There is a false Christ on the world scene, and he is using ‘purpose’ as a ploy to seduce the world into accepting the compromised principles of his New Spirituality.” – Warren Smith, 148. (Emphasis mine)

“There is a false Christ claiming that he is already in the world today and that he is simply waiting for humanity to call him forth. He too, has ‘a purpose’ and is purpose-driven.’  He has a peace plan and says that his coming will bring peace. He puts a premium on service to mankind, and he has a plan to help the lost, the sick, and the poor. He is a prototype for Antichrist…”  - Warren Smithy, 152.

 

New Age False Christ Maitreya Uses the Same Language of “Purpose”

 

With all of Rick Warren’s focus on “purpose” – The Purpose-Driven Life, The Purpose Driven Church, etc., the false christ Maitreya uses the same language:

 

“I am the Purpose.” (Messages from Maitreya the Christ: One Hundred Forty messages, p. 123. [Our emphasis passim.] )

 

“We are together, you and I, for the same purpose.” (Maitreya the Christ, 206)

 

“My Purposes are being fulfilled.” (Ibid., 56)

 

“My Purpose unfolds.” (Ibid., 153)

 

“Hold fast to my Purpose, which is to take man to God.” (Ibid., 192)

 

“I shall place before you all the purpose of God.” (Ibid., 183)

 

“I need all those who long to serve, who wish to fulfill their purpose in life…” (Ibid., 159)

 

“Take My hand, My friends, and let us together walk that path and know the meaning of life, know the blessing of Love, know the purpose of God.” (Ibid., 266)

 

The Great Invocation Invokes “God’s” Purpose

 

On the back cover of this book, Messages from Maitreya is “the Great Invocation” recited in New Age-oriented churches around the world. “’The Great Invocation’ involves the return of ‘the Christ’ and calls for a restoration of ‘The plan.’ The middle lines of the invocation specifically invoke god’s ‘purpose.’

“Purpose” Is Central to the New Age Christ

Once anyone knows how central the concept of ”purpose” is to the New Age Christ, one could never again look at The Purpose-Driven Life or The Purpose-Driven Church the same way again.

 

The Purpose-Driven Christ’s Purpose

Those Who Persist in Remaining “Separate” From “Oneness” To Be Selectively Driven From the Planet

 

However, there is another “purpose” to the Purpose-Driven New Age Christ.

 

“While Maitreya talks of ‘love’ and ‘peace’ and the one family of mankind, he has issued a very strict warning to those people who persist in remaining ‘separate’ by refusing to see themselves and everyone else as ‘divine.’ He has warned that those who refuse to accept the doctrine of immanence and Oneness-humanity’s shared divinity with God- will be selectively expelled from the human race. Specifically using the terms ‘purpose’ and ‘driven,’ this Purpose Driven false Christ has declared that it is his ‘purpose to make sure that everyone who remains ‘separate,’ by denying the divinity of man, be ‘driven’ from the planet.

 

“’All that hinders the manifestation of man’s divinity must be driven from our planet.’   [Messages from Maitreya the Christ, 248] (Emphasis mine)

 

New Age Christ’s Purpose to Drive Crime of Separation From This World

 

“’The crime of separation must be driven from this world. I affirm that as My Purpose.’” [Messages from Maitreya the Christ, 189]

 

“The Selection Process”

 

New Age leader Barbara Marx Hubbard, on the board of Directors of the Global Renaissance Alliance and a speaker for Walsch’s Humanity’s Team, “wrote that she was told the same thing. Hubbard stated that her ‘Christ’ specifically described this purposeful elimination process as ‘the selection process.’” – Warren Smith, 163.

 

The Way of Truth

At the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, Satan gave Eve the doctrine of pantheism that:

 

“Ye shall be as gods.” Genesis 3:5.

 

He is still carrying on the same message that the creature is god.

 

Message of the Sabbath directly Defeats Pantheism

 

However, the message of the Sabbath is that there is a Creator who is distinct from the creation, for worship rests upon the Creator-creature distinction.

 

It is already imbedded deep in the theology of the “Purpose-Driven Christ” and New Age to separate out all who resist, and mark them for extinction.

 

Word of God Must Be Greater than Evidence of Senses

 

We are at the end of time, the entire world will be, and is being, deluded into accepting Satan as Christ. Only a few die-hards will be able to resist because to them the Word is greater than the “reality” that they see with their own eyes. They will have trained their minds to resist delusion, and stay with the Word by Faith, though all appearances are to the contrary. They will not walk down the path of allowing the mind to be deluded.

 

The Strong, Almost Overmastering Delusion

 

It will be a strong, almost overmastering delusion when Satan personates Christ. ‘As the crowning act in the great drama of deception, Satan himself will personate Christ. The church has long professed to look to the Savior’s advent as the consummation of her hopes. Now the great deceiver will make it appear that Christ has come, only after the first four trumpets in Revelation has sounded and left earth in total chaos from the destruction that accompanies each trumpet. In different parts of the earth, Satan will manifest himself among men as a majestic being of dazzling brightness, resembling the description of the Son of God given by John in the Revelation. Revelation 1: 13-15. The glory that surrounds him is unsurpassed by anything that mortal eyes have yet beheld. The shout of triumph rings out upon the air: “Christ has come! Christ has come!” The people prostrate themselves in adoration before him, while he lifts up his hands and pronounces a blessing upon them, as Christ blessed His disciples when He was upon the earth.  His voice is soft and subdued, yet full of melody. In gentle compassionate tones, he presents some of the same gracious, heavenly truths that the Savior uttered; he heals the diseases of the people, and then, in his assumed character of Christ, he claims to have changed the Sabbath to Sunday, and commands all to hallow the day which he has blessed. He declared that those who persist in keeping holy the seventh day are blaspheming his name by refusing to listen to his angels sent to them with light and truth. This strong, almost overmastering delusion.  Like the Samaritans who were deceived by Simon Magus, the multitudes, from the least to the greatest, give heed to these sorceries, saying: This is ‘the great power of God.” Acts 8: 10.” GC 624, 625.

 

Test By the Scriptures – False Christ Blesses Worshippers of Beast and His Image

 

“However the people of God will not be misled. The teachings of this false christ are not in accordance with the Scriptures. His blessing is pronounced upon the worshippers of the beast and his image, the very class upon whom the Bible declares that God’s unmingled wrath shall be poured out.

 

Not Permitted to Counterfeit the Manner of Christ’s Second Coming

 

“And, furthermore, Satan is not permitted to counterfeit the manner of Christ’s advent.  The Savior has warned His people against deception upon this point, and has clearly foretold the manner of His second coming. “There shall arise false christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect… Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, He is in the desert; go not forth; behold, He is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightening cometh out of the east, and shineth even to the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.” Matthew 24: 24-27, 31; 25: 31; Revelation 1:7; 1 Thessalonians 4: 16,17. This coming there is no possibility of counterfeiting. It will be universally known – witnessed by the whole world.

 

We Must Be Diligent Students of the Scriptures, Receive the Love of the Truth, Be So Established On the Word That We Do Not Yield To The Evidence of Our Senses

 

“Only those who have been diligent students of the Scriptures and who have received the love of the truth will be shielded from the powerful delusion that takes the world captive. By the Bible testimony, these will detect the deceiver in his disguise. To all the testing time will come. By the sifting of temptation the genuine, Christian will be revealed.  Are the people of God now so firmly established upon His word that they would not yield to the evidence of their senses? Would they, in such a crisis, cling to the Bible and the Bible only? Satan will, if possible, prevent them from obtaining a preparation to stand in that day. He will so arrange affairs as to hedge up their way, entangle them with earthly treasures, cause them to carry a heavy, wearisome burden, that their hearts may be overcharged with the cares of this life and the day of trial may come upon them as a thief.” GC 625, 626.

 

“Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.” Revelation 2:10.
